Sheet Metal Quality Specialist (3-4 yrs)
Certification & Experience -
- Certified Internal / Lead Auditor for ISO 9001:2008 and EMS 14001:2004
- Six Sigma Green Belt
- Working knowledge of Quality Tools (SPC, PPAP, FMEA, NPD, etc...)
- Quality process Audits
- Quality inspection standards
Travel- Frequent travel required for vendor audits and inspection
Skill Set
1) Analytical skills
2) Good Communication and presentation Skills
3) Good understanding of sheet metal Fabrication process (Shearing, Punching, Forming, Bending, Press fitting, Drilling etc assemblies)
4) Knowledge of pre-treatmentand powder coating processes
5) Knowledge on Tin, Zinc, Copper plating processes
6) Conversant with Indian and International standards on metals with regards to chemical and physical properties.
7) Knowledge on Welding & Brazing processes, ASNT NDT level 2 certification preferred.
Roles & Responsibility :
1) Ensure defect free products from supplier and ensure line productivity
2) New Supplier Audits -- Evaluation, selection and Improvement.
3) Existing supplier Audits and Improvements.
4) Help suppliers to Conduct PPAPs.
5) QMS Training to Suppliers.
6) Do RCA and CAPA verification for supplier issues.
7) Continuous Improvement of supplier processes.
8) Preparing MIS on supplier score card.
