Singhania Group - Manager - Purchase - Specialty Chemicals (3-8 yrs)
Champion Commercial is urgently looking for Purchase Manager in Specialty Chemicals domain who will manage supply assurance and securing best overall value while continuing to ensure that purchased materials support quality, cost, delivery, and service levels. This position works closely with Factory production team, Import team, Vendors and Factory QC team, provides leadership in problem solving, price negotiations, cost containment strategies and enhancing supplier relationships.
Responsibilities and Duties :
- Should have experience in charge of managing purchases for specialty chemicals manufacturing unit.
- To oversee purchase of raw materials, packing materials and consumables.
- Negotiate with vendors.
- Co-ordinate with factory production team for monthly material planning
- Co-ordinate with import team for imported raw materials status (Shipment clearing)
- Prepare price comparison statement. Meet with Directors for approval
- Manage vendor database & track product costing
- Track inventory and material pipeline
- Identify new vendor for vendor development. Co-ordinate with factory QC team for product approvals
- Visit vendor factories for assessment for their capabilities
