Job Title : Site Shift Incharge

Department : Production

Location : Mahad

RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Management of production activities in shifts

- To look after production & maintenance of batch process plants in shifts

- Prioritization of resources in shifts which include contract manpower, fitters,equipments, etc. in co-ordination with concerned plant managers & maintenance manager

- Trouble-shooting in case of utility problems, ETP, MEE in shifts

- Guide & supervise the work of sub-ordinates which includes plant shift in charges, operators, maintenance fitters

- Ensure smooth operations in all production plants, ETP & Utility areas

- Manpower management in shifts - Operators, fitters, contract workers, etc.

- Co-ordination with Materials, QC, Maintenance, Utility & EHS dept.

- Ensure all the production activities are running as per standard time cycles

- Get the maintenance work done in shifts on priority to eliminate production loss because of breakdowns

- To handle the emergency situations in silent hours

- Reporting progress of work done in shifts to Sr. Manager/GM - Operations on regular basis

KNOWLEDGE/SKILL/REQUIREMENTS :

- Good in troubleshooting

- Should have knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001 & OHSAS18001

- Communication skills

- People Management

- Computer skills - should be proficient with email, word, excel, etc.

- Knowledge of functioning of equipments used in chemical plants such as Reactors (SS & GLRs), ANF, AFD, Centrifuges, Distillation columns, RVPD, Heat exchangers, pumps, etc.

- Leadership skills

SUMMARY : Chemical Engineer with 8 to 12 years- experience in production - Chemical Industry
