Responsibilities

- You are responsible for the management of daily organization of the construction site. He/she has to organize a smooth collaboration between the different contractors working on site. Contractors can be civil, mechanical and electrical.

- You organise/participate in daily/weekly site meetings with customers, suppliers and local contractors to discuss progress of works, planning, safety, issues on site, corrective actions if necessary.

- You are responsible for receiving all containers on site with the equipment to be installed, for the handling, as well as the safe storage of the ordered goods.

- You carry out daily inspections of the construction site, and make all necessary tests to verify if the installation complies with its design. Inspections and tests can be civil, mechanical and electrical.

- You are responsible for pre-acceptance inspection of turnover systems from construction contractor

- You are responsible for delivering construction and commissioning objectives on time and within budget

- After construction of the plant, the site supervisor is responsible for cold-commissioning and operational testing of all equipment, I/O-testing.

- You need a basic knowledge of waste water treatment (industrial & municipal waste water treatment, aerobic & anaerobic treatment, tertiary treatment, etc)

- You report to the Project Manager(s) and Director Projects in India/Europe to which you send your daily updates of the works and weekly reports, and which you keep fully informed about situation on site.

- You reports to Safety officer for items concerning safety issues on site.

- You will work on our different construction sites around the world.

Profile

- You have a master degree (electro mechanics) or minimum a relevant bachelor degree with experience.

- You are able to manage and lead a construction site, and to work and cooperate with suppliers and partners, achieving a high level of quality in work as well as in reporting.

- You are hands on, motivated, and not afraid of challenges and working in different cultures.

- You are capable to read technical drawings: P&ID- s, Isometrics, Electrical drawings, Civil drawings.

- You are aware of health and safety procedures which you will enforce on site towards the different contractors.

- You have a proven experience of installing pumps, valves, piping, instrumentation, electricity cabling.

- You are fluent in English as well verbally as in writing. Any other language (French, German, Spanish, Portuguese,- ) is a plus

- You are able to work independent during longer periods, hands-on, capable of working under pressure

- You are willing to travel abroad on a regular basis

- You have a pragmatic approach, helicopter-view but with eye for detail, quality seeker
