Job Summary :

Is responsible for managing project activities for large scale PV projects from conceptualization to execution including technical specifications, stage inspections, monitoring, vendor management etc. Leading a team to create comprehensive designs/plans, layouts, working drawings, construction detail to ensure execution of projects within time and budgeted parameters.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Enable Technology Selection and R&D

- Facilitate the development and review of internal Engineering Design Standards

- Perform feasibility study - Solar Park development, Site selection, Energy feasibility report, DPR, costing, Civil support etc

- Provide technical consultancy to the company for the existing installed solar ground mounted and roof-top projects

- Ensure projects and assignments are delivered on time and on budget and the equipment and materials are utilized according to the required standards

- Prepare and review calculations, design documents, and specifications, conceptual studies, designs, reports, and proposals

- Provide engineering support to plant operation and maintenance teams and troubleshoot equipment problems

- Initiate comprehensive capital improvement projects that include developing clear definitions of scope, investment valuations of alternatives, cost estimates, schedules, and execution plans

- Perform and direct investigative assessments, develop testing plans, perform equipment root cause failure analysis, and support equipment restoration activities

- Mentor and collaborate with junior members of the team;- Strong inter personal skills and relationship orientation

- Expertise in detailed design engineering of solar PV Power plant of 10MW+

Experience and Qualifications Required :

- Engineering/M.Tech in electrical engineering

- 5-8 years of experience in Solar PV, Electrical designing and providing technical consultancy

- Should have handled a team size of 6+ people
