Sourcing Engineer - Construction Equipment/Spare Parts (1-2 yrs)
Industry : Construction Equipment Spare Parts (Specifically Excavators, Rockbreakers)
- Evaluate supplier proposals for cost, lead time, quality and risk, prepare Estimate and execute Orders
- Source the Required Parts from Qualified/New Vendors
- Assess suppliers, company health, performance and capability to deliver products and services
- Assess quality of products to our expected standards and quality
- Negotiate pricing terms and conditions
- Assess risk, issues and opportunities from suppliers end
- Monitor and manage supplier performance including root cause and recovery for Escalations
- Initiate Vendor improvement activities and integrate results into Vendor Contracts
- Review and monitor purchase requisitions
- Make sure the Sourcing is optimized for quality, margin and lead time.
