Sr. Engineer - Plastics Manufacturing (4-5 yrs)
Basic Function:
Responsible for the Injection molding process, Mold Tools, Stamping Tools, Balancing, Capital plan, Process Optimisation, and continuous improvements .
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for New Product Launches, Process optimization, and trouble shooting.
- Coordination of projects with internal and external suppliers and processing of NPR (New Product Releases)
- Responsible for Mold designs and Drawings, developing the technical specifications and SOW, Mold Procurements, Qualifying the Mold suppliers, and releasing the Molds to production.
- Develop control and Validation plans, process flowcharts and process FMEA's.
- Responsible for cost saving projects.
- Responsible for mold tool life management.
- Provide technical support the Mold/Plastics technecians.
- Support and participate in global manufacturing teams.
- Work with Global and plant Cross functional teams to ensure
- Right First time-Every Time
- Rigor in Change management
- Compliance with Quality /Safety/Environmental Policies.
