Job Description of Static Equipment Engineer:

Minimum Qualification: B.E / B. Tech Mechanical

Experience: 5-10 years

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra

- The Candidate shall be performing design calculations, mechanical data sheets, technical specifications, technical requisitions, technical bid evaluations for pressure vessels such as Columns, Reactors, Tanks etc for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical industry.

- The candidate shall be familiar with international codes and standards like ASME Sec. VIII Div. 1 & Div. 2, API, IBR and various Client specifications.

- The candidate shall be proficient in design software like Compress, PV Elite, Ansys, Nozzle Pro etc.

- The candidate shall be having interface with equipment vendors and manufacturers to evaluate technical proposals, post award document review / approvals and ensuring compliance with project requirements.

- The candidate shall adhere to the committed manhours and budget and ensure timely reporting on engineering / requisitioning activities to the Lead Engineer / Manager.

- The candidate shall be having experience in working with engineering consultancies and EPC companies for design and engineering of various types of static equipments.

- Field / shop experience on the equipments related to O&G Projects will be an added advantage.

- The candidate shall coordinate with other engineering disciplines.

- The candidate shall provide support in resolving queries originating during equipment fabrication and site activities.

- The Candidate shall be able to work independently for the preparation of engineering deliverables and review of vendor documents within specified project schedules.

- The Candidate shall be having good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
