Stress Engineer - Aircraft Industry (3-15 yrs)

Job Description :

Education:

- Degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering (Master's degree beneficial).

Skill Required/Primary Responsibilities:

- Perform strength analyses for aircraft structures

- Design supporting calculations (Hand-Calculation)

- Use analytical calculation methods and FEM/FEA

- Prepare and update engineering and strength analysis reports

- Perform applied loads and interface loads analyses

- Establish test methods and create test plans and test reports

- Collaborate with customers and authorities

- Participate in technical meetings and reviews

- Cooperate with project team

Preferred Qualifications

- At least 8+ years of professional experience with stress analysis in the aircraft industry.

- Strong Fundamentals of engineering mechanics and strength of materials

- Experience with Cargo Loading Systems for aircraft (beneficial)

- Experience with FEM and analytical analysis methods

- Experience with MSC Software (Patran, Nastran) preferred

- Experience with composite materials beneficial

- Independent working methods and communication skills

- High sense of responsibility and structured way of working

- Very good spoken and written English

- German spoken and written would be beneficial

- Very good MS Office knowledge
