Stress Engineer - Piping ON CONTRACT

- We have a requirement for Stress Engineer - Piping

- BE with 5-10 years experience In EPC ( Oil & Gas) Industry.

Contract period : 6-12 months

Number of positions : 2

Notice : Immediate joining


Job Role :


- Stress package preparation using critical line list.


- Modeling & preliminary Stress Analysis of piping systems connected to Columns, Heat Exchangers,


- Vessels, Air coolers, Storage Tanks & Centrifugal Pumps using CAESAR II.


- Static stress analysis of lines with slug characteristics in Caesar II.


- Flange leakage calculation as per pressure equivalent method and detail flange leakage checking using ASME Sec. VIII Div. I.


- Preparation of Spring data sheets


- Basic knowledge of all pipe supports & their selection.


- Reviewing of plant-3D model using Navisworks software.


- Preparation of stress repots, P & ID and isometric mark ups, special pipe supports drawings preparation and documentation as per client requirement.


- Familiar with ASME B31.3 Pressure Piping Codes and API codes.


- Co-ordination with the other Engineering departments like civil, process, mechanical.


- Modeling & Stress Analysis of piping systems connected to Centrifugal Compressors and nozzle loads qualification using NEMA SM 23 and API 617.


- Modeling & Stress Analysis of piping systems connected to Air Coolers and nozzle loads qualification as per API 661.


- Modeling & Stress Analysis of piping systems connected to Centrifugal Pumps and nozzle loads qualification as per API 610.


- Modeling & Stress Analysis of piping systems connected to Vessels, Storage Tanks.


- Flange leakage calculation using pressure equivalent method and detail flange leakage checking using ASME Sec. VIII Div. I.


- Preparation of stress reports as per clients requirement.
