Structural Design Engineer - RCC/Steel Structures (5-10 yrs)
Job description :
- B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering - Minimum (from reputed institute)
- M.E./M. Tech. in Structural Engineering
- Desirable Relevant experience in Process Plant design
Technical / Subject Knowledge :
- Analysis/Design of structures & buildings using STAAD Pro or similar software
- Design of open/pile foundations (isolated or combined raft) for structures and vertical and horizontal static equipment
- Experience with modular design is desirable
- Knowledge of Indian and International codes (American, Euro, Russian etc.) relevant to Civil/Structural discipline
- Hands on experience of review tools e.g. SPR, Navis Works
- Knowledge of 3D CAD modelling tools (S3D/PDS) is highly desirable
Skill Sets :
- Static analysis and design of RCC/steel structures
- Software Tools & Technology
- Analysis & Design : STAAD Pro or equivalent, Foundation 3D/Mat3D
- Design Review : SPR, Navis Works
- 3D Modelling: SP3D, PDS
Team Size : Handle 1 to 3 designers
Targeted Industries : EPC companies, engineering firms involved in process plant design
Key Role & Responsibility :
- Analysis and/or Design of Steel/RCC structures/buildings & foundations
- Checking model and drawings prepared by designers
- Resolving interface issues with other disciplines e.g. Piping, E&I
- Delivering quality deliverables within allotted budget and schedule
