Structural Engineer - Civil Design (2-3 yrs)
Job brief :
We are looking to hire a highly qualified Structural Engineer to oversee the completion of several construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for aiding in the designing and construction of safe and secure structures.
Responsibilities :
- Create detailed designs of the project, including 2D and 3D models.
- Design structures around the needed structural and technical specifications to create a safe structure.
- Aid with the creation of an accurate budget and time frame for the project.
- Work on-site to ensure the construction workers are building the structure according to the technical details provided to them.
- Measure and prepare the structure for the loads and pressures it must withstand.
- Report the progress of a project to other team members as well as superiors.
Requirements :
- A degree in Structural Engineering is a must, with past experience as a definite plus
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Must have a close eye for detail and have a strong working knowledge of construction best practices
- Must communicate confidently and clearly
- Must be able to give and receive constructive feedback and criticism
- Mtech In Structural Engg
- Familiar with STAAD as well as SACS
