Structural Engineer - Offshore/FPSO - Oil & Gas (12-22 yrs)
Role : Offshore Structural Engineer
Location : Chennai
Experience : 12+ Years
Responsibilities :
- Experienced offshore Structural Engineers. Graduate in Civil Engg/Structural Engg desired, Post Graduate in Structural Engg /Offshore Structure is preferable.
- Candidates conversant with SACS software for analysis/design of offshore structures.
- Hands on experience in performing In place/Inservice and Preservice analysis of Fixed platform Jacket & topsides/FPSO/ Floater Topside Modules.
- Also Experience in Spectral Fatigue/Seismic, On bottom stability, Pile handling, Floatation & Upending for Jackets/platforms will be an added advantage.
- Experience in using SESAM/STAAD Pro/SAP2000 & FEM software's - ANSYS/ABACUS would be an advantage.
- Responsible to provide inputs to structural modelers/drafting team
- Check 3D Model & Drawings for Engg aspects using NAVIS works/equivalent 3D Model viewers
Prepare MTO/BOQ/BOM, Inputs for Weight Control report, verify other Disc data for Weight Control report.
- Familiar with Structural Material Grades/fabrication aspects/detailing aspects.
