Roles and Responsibilities :

- Management of existing suppliers. Ensuring compliance to Supplier Control activities identified by organization.

- Conduct Supplier Audits and Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions of supplier quality issues

- Maintain and update Approved suppler list, Critical supplier audit system and schedule.

- Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on Supplier Quality activities

- Collate and evaluate supplier quality data to identify process improvement opportunities within the supply chain.

- Review supplier manufacturing processes, collaborate with suppliers on process improvement and value enhancement opportunities

- Promote the use of customer preferred techniques for continuous improvement such as Lean, Six Sigma, Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Statistical process control (SPC) and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (pFMEA)

- Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to adhere to process and prevent occurrence of any non-conformity relating to product, process or system.

- Data analysis using various statistical tools.

- Participate in cross-functional teams in the development of new products or changes related to current products in meeting customer requirements

- Setting up Quality objectives and monitoring for organization.

1.4 Desired Profile :

Education : B. Tech / B.E.-Mechanical / Electronics

Experience : 3-5 years

Personality : Good communication, Flexible, Open for travel, Technically sound

Specific Job Skills :

- Hands on experience for supplier quality management and supplier auditing

- Experience of evaluating supplier performance and performing root cause analysis for failures

- Support and lead process improvement activities and hands on experience of Implementation of corrective actions at supplier end.

- Guide the team in development of QMS procedures and forms based on the requirements of ISO13485, ISO14971 and 21 CFR 820 requirements

- ISO 13485-2016 Lead auditor certification will be added advantage.

- Demonstrated organizational and written/verbal communication skills.

- Demonstrated ability to self-motivate

- Demonstrated ability to effectively work with others in various coordinate disciplines and on multi-national teams.

- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment.

- Medical Devices domain experience is added advantage.
