- Job Description for Engineer Quality :

- Responsible for Fabricated Product Quality control & Quality Assurance activities in the organization.

- Assign and authorize competent site staff to inspect and monitor the quality of work in accordance with the Manufacturing quality plan, contractor method of statement, inspection test plan

- To Prepare Quality Assurance plan, Testing & Operating Procedure for upcoming products and project Category.

- Ensure the project procedures are updated and duly implemented.

- Review implement of WPS, PQR and prepare QA/QC procedure& method of statement as per project specification and code.

- Coordination for Third Party inspection as well as customer inspections

- To get the clearance from Customer / client if any inspection Non conformity or Observation.

- To ensure whether the Stage wise Inspection is carried out as per respective Quality Plan, Test Procedure & Standards/Codes.

- Monitor the welding procedures specified are qualified and the welding is performed in accordance with the applicable procedure

- Co-ordinate with NDT team, monitor NDT work as per project requirements.

- Monitoring QC inspectors at site, allocation of job to QC inspectors, day to day follow up of inspectors regarding work and site problems.

- Compile & update all Quality Indicators.

- To verify the process card as per the finished Product of the project category.

- To ensure all quality reports (Inward/ In-process & final) records are maintained.

- In process & Final Inspection are carried out as per Approved Documents for Project Category.

- To visit supplier site for Vendor Evaluation / Development and Inspection.

- To reduce the customer complaints based on the performance of the dryer and to enhance the product quality consistently.

- Monitoring the documents and validity duration for Measuring Instruments & gauges in a periodic manner.

- Root cause Analysis / FMEA in case of any failure occurrence among the product.

- Review the performance of Quality functions against objectives and targets

- Disposal of non-conformities with regard to final product

- Authorization records related to final product non conformity

- Maintenance of ISO records.

- To assist MR in conducting internal quality audits and follows up for completion of corrective & preventive actions.
