We are re-imagining how neighborhood retail in Bharat, the unorganized Kirana stores of today will get transformed into organized convenience retail chains over the next decade - we are driving this change.
SuperK is a well-funded early-stage startup that offers a full-stack solution to empower small format retail stores in Tier 2 and below towns. SuperK is rebranding existing small format retail stores and providing them with the benefits of procurement, tech systems, intelligence, and marketing at scale to create a chain of mini supermarkets. Some parallels can be drawn to how Oyo has transformed the small hotel industry, Medplus & Apollo have changed pharma retail and BigC & others have changed offline mobile buying.
What you will be doing
-  Responsible for entire day to day operations of the warehouse in meeting the daily operational objectives in all functional areas (Inbound, Outbound, Inventory Management, Human Resources etc.)
-  Drive creation of operational plans and SOPs for all the Assistant Manager for respective functional areas to enable them to meet their objectives
-  Take proactive measures to ensure sharing of best practices, plan and conduct necessary training programs for staff at all levels
-  Proactively identify and lead initiatives to improve process efficiencies
-  Identify and address operational and personnel issues affecting each of the functional work areas
-  Build positive employee relationships within the warehouse and the organization.
-  Play a key role in conflict resolution and manage the entire manpower responsible for the smooth functioning of the warehouse
-  Accountable for all the assets and inventory in the warehouse
-  Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and take up initiatives to optimize the warehouse efficiency
-  Work closely with all the other teams across SuperK (Sales, Stores, Procurement, Human Resources etc.) and provide necessary support for initiatives
What we would like to see in you
-  4+ years of prior experience in warehouse operations, preferably as a Manager
-  Experience with performance metrics and driving process efficiencies
-  Experience in managing a cross functional team
-  Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguity
-  Should be a self starter and be able to work with minimal supervision
-  Good communication skills and high attention to detail
-  Good ability to use MS Excel and MS Word
-  Able to communicate in Telugu
