Must-Have : Experience in Di Pipe, New product development, Moulding.
JD :
Purpose of the Job :
- The supervisor will contribute to Develop New Products comprising of mainly different types of Joints, as per market;
- The supervisor should have a fair understanding of the specifications and interpret the requirements;
- He should be able to guide the team of workmen and contractual workforce perform as per the direction of the officer;
- The Supervisor should be conversant with DI Pipe manufacturing elements of Mould, Core, Gasket, CCM & other finishing parameters;
- The Supervisor should be conversant in reading and understanding various structural drawings.
Major Tasks & Responsibilities :
- Understanding of National & International Standards & Specifications for DI Pipe
- Correlation of various supporting specifications with the main manufacturing specification
- Understanding of part and assembly drawings of Joints and performing the same in-situ
- Study on various relevant standards of other MoC
- Practising the Jointing technology and developing tools tackles and fixtures for on-site applications
- Tracking In-house development at various stages of the manufacturing process as may be applicable
- Track and Monitor progress in the outsource location as per QAP
- Industrial experience of more than 9 years inclusive of more than 8 years in Foundry of which a minimum 6 years should be in Ductile Iron Pipe or Fittings manufacturing with overall knowledge of Processes involved and requisite Quality aspects.
