Supplier Quality Manager - Oil & Gas/Power/Water Industry (15-25 yrs)
Education : Full time Engineering - Automobile, Aviation, Chemical, Mechanical, Metallurgy, Petroleum, Nuclear, Production/Industrial
Location : Pune / Bangalore
Preferred : 6 Sigma Green/Black Belt
Candidate should have minimum 15 years of experience preferably working in Oil & Gas / Power / Water industry.
Job Profile :
- Manage team of Sourcing Quality Engineers to drive quality, delivery and compliance excellence within the India supply base
- Program Management Skills required: ;Ability to handle a wing to wing program.
- Drive a strong EHS culture throughout the supply base and within the team
- Identify and lead supplier development programs in order to continuously improve supplier performance
- Execute Global Sourcing and India strategies, managing complex relationships between numerous stakeholders in numerous countries
- Develop and execute audit schedules for both quality and EHS
- Own the QMS processes for Power & Water and drive compliance to the procedures
- Supervise detailed Root Cause Analysis when issues arise, drive preventative actions that ensure issues dont re-occur
- Manage budgets for Travel & Living as well as Engineering support, ensuring that the budgets are initially set correctly and are followed closely
Establish and monitor a large and complex supplier qualifications program
Work closely with global Commodity Leaders and local Commodity Leaders to identify and assess new supplier opportunities
