Job Description:

1. Develop and maintain supplier base and segment them by capability, region and product category

2. Regular engagement with the vendors and develop working relationship to support regular and critical projects

3. Assess the trend of availability and pricing for key component and commodities

4. Follow-up with vendors for right quality, right time and right cost supplies

5. Vendor development activities and support them to migrate towards green channel supplier

6. Engage with International vendors for key products

7. Develop processes for vendor management, supply management and Exim management

8. Share inputs with the management on upcoming trends, events and market inputs

9. Share inputs on competition, competitive strategy and new product innovation

10. Support projects with expedited deliveries and ontime execution

11. Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of key products, technologies and vendors

12. Prepare reports and presentations on the status of the design and development process for discussion with management and/or team members

13. Direct research on emerging hardware products and standards in support of procurement and development efforts

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering (or related field)

2. Five or more years of past experience working on Power Electronics Design in Renewable field

3. Experience in supply chain domain

4. Hands on experience of managing vendors and SCM processes

5. Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies

6. Knowledge in Power Electronics Applications is desirable
