Supply Chain Manager - Electrical & Powertrain

Location: Bengaluru

Start Date: Immediate or within 1 Month

Experience: 5- 6 Years

Industry: Automobile (2W EV)

We are looking for a dynamic Supply Chain Manager - Electrical & Powertrain with strong experience in EV electrical & electronic sourcing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on exposure to motor, MCU, and powertrain supplier development along with strategic sourcing expertise.

What You'll Do:

Strategic Sourcing:

- Develop & execute sourcing strategies for electrical & electronic components aligned with vehicle programs

- Identify & onboard suppliers for Motors, Motor Controllers (MCU), PCBs, wiring harnesses, chargers, telematics, sensors & lighting systems

- Build a diversified supplier base across India & global markets for cost, quality & resilience

Supplier Management:

- Experience in Motor & MCU development, localization & supplier identification

- Coordinate with powertrain suppliers based on technical requirements

- Develop long-term partnerships with Tier 1 & Tier 2 suppliers (EMS, PCB assembly, wire harnessing, power electronics, embedded systems)

- Conduct supplier audits, capability assessments & technology evaluations

- Negotiate pricing, payment terms & long-term contracts

Cost Optimization:

- Lead cost reduction via should-cost analysis, benchmarking & alternate sourcing

- Collaborate with engineering on DFM, DFC & DTV initiatives

- Analyse cost drivers in PCB layout, SMT, components & tooling

Quality Assurance:

- Ensure compliance with automotive standards (PPAP, APQP, ISO 9001, IATF 16949)

- Work with SQE & engineering for reliability & regulatory compliance

- Drive supplier corrective actions & defect resolution

What You Bring:

- Experience in sourcing/supply chain (Automotive/EV/Electronics)

- Strong understanding of EV electrical components (controllers, harnesses, sensors, PCBs, EMS)

- Expertise in SMT, wave soldering, PCB layout & harness manufacturing

- Strong supplier development & negotiation skills

- ERP proficiency (SAP/Odoo)

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

- Willingness to relocate to Bengaluru & travel to suppliers
