Surveyor - Exploration Surveyor (10-12 yrs)

Position : Exploration Surveyor

Location : Northwest Africa

Industry : Mining & Metal

KEY RESPONSBILITIES:

- "Set up control points in remote areas and conduct total station and DGPS surveys.

- Perform volume surveys and drone surveys using LiDAR and photogrammetry.

- Collect, process, and interpret survey data using DJI Terra, Pix4D, ArgSoft, and Geovia Surpac software.

- Collaborate with geologists and other team members to integrate survey data with geological and geophysical data.

- Prepare technical reports and presentations on survey findings."

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:

- "Proficiency in total station and DGPS surveys.

- Experience with LiDAR and photogrammetry for drone surveys.

- Knowledge of DJI Terra, Pix4D, ArgSoft, and mining softwares like Geovia Surpac software.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to set up control points and conduct surveys in remote areas"

QUALIFICATION:

- "Bachelor's degree in BE Civil/ Mining Surveying, Geomatics, or related field.

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in exploration surveying.

- Experience with total station, DGPS, LiDAR, and photogrammetry surveys.

- Drone License"

EXPERIENCE: 10 years in mining and exploration environment

CERTIFICATIONS:

- Membership in an Internationally recognised Geoscientist Organization is an added advantage.

- Drone License will also be an added advantage.
