Suzlon - Load & Simulation Engineer - Mechanical (10-14 yrs)
Key Responsibility :
1. Provide state of the art load calculations and structural analysis :
Implementation of the following working areas :
- Loads calculations (e.g. design load calculation, energy yield prediction and vibration analysis)
- Validation of simulation models (e.g. turbine behaviour & loads, power performance, noise, vibration and model validation)
- Structural analysis (e.g. strength analysis, shape optimization, modal analysis)
- Product validation and Optimization
2. Establish and develop team of first class engineers :
- Participation in assorting a first class engineering team
- Provide leadership and guidance to newly founded team
- Develop and support all team members to the best of their capabilities
Prior exposure and familiarity : (Input while shortlisting and assessment)
- Experience in leading a team in an international environment (3-5y)
- (Hands on) experience in wind industry required
- Broad experience in simulation of mechanical systems mandatory
Major Challenges : Quality control for the above mentioned areas/deliverables (department is partly acting as internal service provider for other design and service departments)
Knowledge, Skills and Experience :
Educational Qualifications - Master degree in Mechanical Engineering ( IIT & NIIT or top colleges only )
