Position title : Systems Application Engineer

Location : Hyderabad

Work Schedule : 5 days, General Shift

Duties and Responsibilities :

Responsibilities :

- Act as the primary interface between customers and our Air Systems engineering/lab team, guiding the evaluation of optimal motor/blower solutions.

- Advocate for customer needs, ensuring alignment with performance, quality, and reliability standards within the engineering team.

- Proficiently utilize software and application tools, presenting technical knowledge to clients effectively.

- Collaborate closely with our field sales and marketing team, engaging customers, managing technical inquiries, and contributing to technology review sessions.

- Conduct intricate root cause analyses, authorize corrective actions, and lead communication with customers regarding issue resolution.

- Support and approve complex product design changes, providing technical product analysis for specific projects or clients.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, and Sourcing teams for New Model Releases, prototypes, and engineering change requests.

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; Master's degree a plus.

Work Experience :

- 5+ years of HVAC industry experience, especially in Ventilation and Air Conditioning, including product design or application engineering.

- Knowledge/exposure to HVAC system components, ECM type motors, or extensive VFD experience.

- Proficiency in professional presentation skills, customer interaction, and global team collaboration.

- Engineering project leadership experience or proven track record in product design, validation testing, and project management.

- In-depth understanding of SEER/EER Regulations impacting the HVAC industry, particularly within the IMEA region (AMCA Std).

- Expertise in performance testing of Air Handlers, Fan Coil units, Bio Safety Cabinets, and ventilation units.

- Strong product design knowledge concerning Fan Coils, Air Handlers, and Ventilation units.

- Black Belt or MBB certification/experience preferred; Six Sigma Training/Certification (Green Belt/DFLSS) advantageous.
