Job Description: HSE Officer

Location: Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra 400701

Employment Type : Full-Time

Work Environment: Primarily office-based with occasional on-site execution

Industry: Electrical Panel Manufacturing, Process & Metering Skids, Industrial Automation

Qualification: 1. Bachelor's degree/diploma in safety management, engineering, or relevant industrial field; safety certification (such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) preferred

Experience :

1. Minimum 5 years relevant experience in industrial, construction, Data Center or infrastructure settings, with exposure to heavy lifting and erection projects

2. Familiarity with crane operations, rigging plans, load charts, lifting equipment inspections, and erection sequencing

3. Good communication skills in Writing, speaking, risk assessment abilities, team leadership, and problem-solving capability

4. Strong knowledge of lifting operations standards (such as IS standards, OSHA, or local equivalents), and proven experience in overseeing heavy erection works

Knowledge, Roles & Responsibilities-

1. Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies, procedures, and guidelines in line with local and industry regulations pertinent to heavy lifting and erection operations

2. Conduct risk assessments of heavy lifting activities, identifying site-specific hazards such as unstable ground, poor rigging, or inadequate lifting equipment

3. Oversee and monitor all heavy weight erection operations, ensuring only qualified personnel and approved lifting procedures are employed, Logistics Plan and Risk.

4. Inspect equipment, lifting tackles, cranes, slings, and all erection tools to ensure safety compliance and suitability before operation

5. Maintain accurate records of inspections, permits, incident reports, and training sessions related to erection activities

6. Preparation of HSE Documents like HIRA, JSA, Project HSE plan, Emergency evacuation plan
