Tachion Electricals and Controls - Planning Engineer (4-9 yrs)
Job Title : Planning Engineer
Location: Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra 400701
Employment Type: Full-Time
Timing: 9:30am to 6:00 pm
Work Environment: Primarily office-based with occasional on-site execution
Industry: Electrical Panel Manufacturing, Process & Metering Skids, Industrial Automation
Reports To: Project Manager / Project Coordinator
Job Summary:
Required an experienced Planning Engineer to manage project schedules, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning & Scheduling:
- Develop and maintain project schedules (MS Project, Primavera, etc.)
- Create and update S-curves, progress reports, and dashboards
- Identify and mitigate schedule risks.
- Effective interpersonal coordination between all departments & disciplines.
- Project tracking & expediting skills
2. Progress Tracking & Reporting:
- Monitor project progress and update stakeholders
- Analyse and report on project performance.
3. Risk Management:
- Identify and assess project risks
- Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans
4. Cash Flow Management:
- Manage project cash flow and forecasts
- Ensure alignment with project timelines
Requirements:
- Preferably BE / BTech in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Equivalent
- At least 4-8/9 years of experience in EPC / project & construction planning
- Proficient in MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
