TCF Maintenance Engineer (3-10 yrs)

Job Responsibilities: -

Plant Health Management

1. Preventive Maintenance:

a. Execute preventive maintenance as per schedule / break down history on daily basis in his area in shops

b. Control maintenance parameters like MTTR, MTBF and % break down by adhering to PM schedule

2. Predictive Maintenance: Keep a check on safety inter-locks, efficiency & performance of the machines and function of every part of the machine to prevent failure

3. Break Down Maintenance:

a. Handle all the break downs (mechanical / electrical) on daily basis in each shift and ensure 100 % availability of every machine in each shift

b. Study repetitive breakdowns & take corrective actions against the problems occurred

4. Asset Ownership:

a. Be sole accountable for all the machines & up-keep the health of the machines

b.Up-gradation/Re-conditioning: As per break-down analysis change & up grade the machines to improve the efficiency & health

5. Spares Management:

a. List down the spares of the machines as per the OEM manuals.

b. Ensure 100% availability of the spares for break down maintenance & PM requirements

7. Implement and review PM module & office TPM in the shop

6. Energy Savings:

1. Monitor & control electrical energy consumption by making maximum improvements / Kaizens & optimizing the efficiency of the machine

2. Monitor & control the air leakages by doing improvements / Kaizens & to take corrective actions.

7. Establishing Work Culture

Drives his team and propagates organization's work culture including Safety, Productivity, Quality & Discipline.

1. Safety- Ensure Zero incidents in his area by:

a) Communicating any learnings from Incidents from other location or shops, ensuring Safety compliances by repeated reinforcement and taking appropriate action to resolve any safety observations/issues reported

b) Motivating operators to suggest/conduct safety Kaizens.

c) Morale:

a. Participate in structured discussions, monthly with union members to address issues from both sides

b. Facilitate healthy shop floor environment.

c. Develop positive interpersonal relationship with workmen in his area by proactively handling their grievances.

d) Self-Directed Teams(SDT)- Coordinate for SDTs, identify issues/projects and guide them to achieve their goals.

Enhance the overall skill level of his area by conducting technical trainings for workmen and suitable deployment.

8. Technical Expertise:

a) Should have working & programming knowledge of AB & Mitsubishi PLC.

b) Should have working knowledge of PC based machines.

c) Should have working & programming knowledge of Fanuc Robots for glass glazing.

d) Should have good technical and analytical knowledge of equipment like Conveyors, Filling machines, Roll and Brake testers - Fori, Wheel Alignment mc- Fori, EOL equipment's etc

e) Should have working knowledge of SAP systems for spare parts planning & PM Planning.
