Technical Assistant to Business Head (8-25 yrs)
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Support & Analysis
- Assist Plant/Unit Head in reviewing and analyzing technical aspects of daily operations.
- Collect, compile, and analyze production data, identifying trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and dashboards for management review.
2. MIS & Reporting
-Prepare and maintain technical MIS (Management Information System) reports.
- Conduct detailed analysis of daily/weekly/monthly production reports and highlight key performance indicators.
- Present analytical findings in a clear, concise manner for decision-making.
3. Production Improvement Initiatives
- Identify bottlenecks, deviations, and variances in production data.
- Recommend corrective and preventive actions to improve production efficiency.
- Coordinate with divisional heads for implementation of corrective measures.
4. Coordination & Meetings
- Organize and facilitate technical review meetings and planning discussions.
- Support the Plant/Unit Head in preparing presentations and reports for management meetings.
- Ensure timely follow-up and closure of action points from technical and management reviews.
5. Planning & Documentation
- Maintain technical documentation, records, and reports as per company standards.
- Assist in planning and monitoring plant performance improvement initiatives.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and statistical skills for technical data interpretation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
- Good knowledge of production processes and plant operations.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Qualification & Experience
Qualification: B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgy, Production, or related discipline.
Experience: 5- 15 years in technical/production support, preferably in steel industry.
