Role Overview:

As a Technical Manager - Embedded Electronics (Hardware & Firmware), you will lead a team of talented engineers in the design, development, and validation of cutting-edge embedded systems for our next-generation products. You will collaborate closely with product management, systems engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful product launches. Your work will directly impact the performance, reliability, and security of our products, enhancing customer satisfaction and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the design and development of embedded hardware and firmware solutions, ensuring alignment with product requirements and industry best practices.

- Manage a team of embedded engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to foster a high-performing and collaborative environment.

- Oversee the implementation of motor control algorithms and strategies to optimize system efficiency and performance.

- Drive the integration of cybersecurity measures into embedded systems to protect against potential threats and vulnerabilities.

- Champion the adoption of functional safety (SIL2/SIL3) principles in the design and development process to ensure product safety and compliance.

- Establish and maintain a robust automated testing framework to ensure the quality and reliability of embedded systems.

- Promote the use of CI concepts to streamline the development process and improve code quality.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and ensure successful product integration.

- Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of embedded engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

- Proven expertise in embedded hardware and firmware design, development, and validation.

- Deep understanding of motor control principles and techniques.

- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices for embedded systems.

- Experience with functional safety (SIL2/SIL3) standards and their application in embedded systems.

- Proficiency in developing and implementing automated testing frameworks.

- Familiarity with CI concepts and their application in embedded software development.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment in Pune.
