- To provide technical service and identify and develop new applications for selected segment/ s within Personal and Home Care business.

Essential Job Functions : 

Development of Formulations :

- To formulate best in class research solutions to grow the business.

- To develop prototype formulations specific for the markets in the region

- Lead new product development, create unique testing protocols, applications and solutions, and simulate end-use performance for creating customer value.

- Using test methods and formulations develop prototypes to meet unmet customer needs.

Technical Support Activities :

 - To facilitate business by offering timely technical assistance to internal/ external customers

- Troubleshooting customer issues through evaluation and guidance

- Technical support for the sales and marketing teams

- Onsite customer support

- Understand and create data to support value propositions and customer value communications.

- Support Customer Sales & marketing Preparation for trade show & exhibition

- Create supporting technical literature

Operational Efficiency :

- To create business by offering timely technical assistance to internal/ external customers

- Keep the laboratory and the equipment s in ready to use condition,

- Manage the stores and to maintain the technical database.

- Provide technical data, reports, and communication to promote better inputs to the business

- Utilize predictive modeling and statistical tools to accelerate development.

- Lead Technology transfer as per customer schedule

- Formulations analysis to achieve approvals

- Effectively foster communication across all levels 

Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Physical Requirements :

- Minimum of B.Sc. degree in chemistry / B. Tech (Oils & Fats) / M. Tech in cosmetology

- Minimum 6-10 years of experience in formulation R & D (lab) of reputed Personal Care Company

- Exposure to product development cycle in R&D

- Knowledge of formulation development
