Experience : Minimum 15 years in power plant
Relevant experience : Minimum 3 years as GM
Qualification: M.Tech/B.Tech
Job description :
Role & responsibilities :
- Responsible for Effective Operation & Maintenance of Power plant & utility.
- Expertise in Boilers - Erection, Commissioning, Testing & Trouble Shooting.
- In-depth understanding of Power plant operation, equipment, and process.
- Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and permits, as per industry standards related to power generation, emergency response plans, etc.
- Performing various modifications in the plant which result into safe and easy operations, savings in coal, power, water, lubricants, etc.
- Planning and effectively predicting & preventing maintenance schedules for various equipment's.
- Increase machine up time & equipment reliability.
- Emergencies handling like Black Out, Grid Disturbance, and other equipment related.
- Plant performance review and Deviation report analysis, Aux Power and Heat Rate Reduction.
- Development of SOPs, Modification requests review and implementations.
Preferred candidate profile :
- The role requires strong technical expertise in power plant operations, and a focus on achieving operational excellence.
- Previous experience in a leadership or management role in a power plant
