Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify and research potential clients within target markets.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Generate leads through networking, cold calling, consultants & clients visit and other channels
- Conduct product,Capability & company presentations and product demonstrations.
- Prepare proposals and negotiate contracts.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities.
Consultant Handling:
- Act as a liaison between clients and consultants.
- Understand client needs and match them with appropriate consultant expertise.
- Manage project timelines and ensure deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues that may arise.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants.
- Provide regular updates to clients on project status.
- Gather client feedback and ensure satisfaction with consulting services.
- Manage consultant utilization and optimize resource allocation.
General:
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve company objectives.
- Participate in marketing and networking events.
- Prepare reports on sales performance and client satisfaction.
- Contribute to the development of new business strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering or Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3-8 and above years of experience in business development and/or client management, preferably in the genset, engine, power and switchgear industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building client relationships.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software e.g. Salesforce.
- Knowledge of consulting methodologies and best practices is a plus.
