- Responsible for Quality Assurance of incoming Raw material and finished products.

- Overall responsible for Man power planning, development in Q.A Lab, Product finishing and dispatch dept.

- Responsible for the planning of revenue and capital budget for QA / Product finishing and dispatch department, preparation & compilation of composite Annual QA budget and effective control of the same.

- Overview of QA operations, including co-ordination with Operations, Engineering, Marketing and Personnel & Administration Departments and ensuring continuous operation of the plant to meet the targeted Production, Quality and dispatches.

- Effectively managing HR & IR related departmental issues and imparting discipline in workforce by creating harmonious work environment.

- Implementation and maintenance of IMS in QA department to meet the business and IMS Policy objectivities besides overview implementation of all Organization-wide IMS initiatives.

- Formulation and implementation of Strategies in QA operations in accordance with business and marketing requirements.

- Product stewardship aspects, including Product value enhancement in the market place and Customer Relations management in conjunction with marketing and Operations Department.

- Overview the functions of Projects, Fire & Safety, Occupational Health and Quality Assurance Departments and establishment of IMS in these processes.

People Related :

- Take disciplinary actions in accordance with legal provisions.

- Leave recommending authority of department employees.

- Overtime recommending authority for department employees.

- Inspection of incoming materials to the factory as per the specification.

- Issuing quality certificates for finished products.

Operation Related :

- To decide and finalize the priority of all the activities to meet the targeted goals.

- In order to meet statutory & regulatory requirements under various acts on behalf of the Company as per delegation of power & decision making authority for all legal requirements.

- Implementation of ERP system.

Finance Related :

- Authority to incur expenditure to maintain QA and Product Fishing / dispatch machinery within the budgeted limits.

- To authorize all the expense statements and vouchers for the QA and Product Fishing / dispatch.

- Administration Related:

- Representing the Company in General administration.

Accountability :

- Assisting in the compliance under - Factory Act 1948- and other Acts for National Peroxide Limited.

- For Budget preparation and budgetary controls.

Ideal Candidate :

Should have the following attributes :

- Minimum experience of 10 years, predominantly in QA function in a chemical industry.

- Good knowledge of chemistry and operational experience from petrochemical/fertilizer industries and effluent treatment is essential.

- Conversant with HPLC, ICP.GC.AAS and trouble shooting

- A strong leader with hunter instinct and to motivate a team to achieve the set top-line targets.

- He should have knowledge of HR / IR field.

Age : 30-35 years.

Qualification: B. Sc. / M. Sc. Additional qualifications in the field of safety / Environmental management will be given preference.
