Thermal Analysis - FloTHERM (5-6 yrs)
Job responsibilities:
1. Design and testing of Aluminum/Cu/ heat pipe/ vapor chamber heat sinks for optimum cooling of components on PCB level. This includes extrusions/ off-the-shelf parts/ zipper fin/ folded fin/ stampings, choosing thermal interface materials and mounting methods.
2. Thermal analysis and management of telecom racks, sub-racks and high heat dissipating circuit packs using FLOTHERM.
3. Thermal compliance testing (NEBS, ETSI) of modules/ components. Trouble shooting thermally critical components and improving thermal design.
4. Desired candidate need to be an hand-on on Flotherm and should be very good in analysis.
5. Individual contributor: He has to do analysis independently without any supervision.
6. People from telecom and product validation (Thermal) would be preferred.
7. Job requires candidate to perform thermal analysis in Flotherm followed by thermal validation in test lab.
8. Candidates with just tool knowledge is not preferred.
9. Look from Mechanical Engineer background.
