Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Design and Development Engineer with a specialization in peristaltic pumps and related products. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in mechanical and electrical design, coupled with hands-on experience in developing and optimizing fluid handling systems, particularly peristaltic pumps. This role will involve working on the entire product development lifecycle, from conceptualization through to final production.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Design & Development: Design and develop innovative peristaltic pumps and related fluid handling products, ensuring adherence to quality, performance, and safety standards.

Mechanical Design: Use CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) for designing components, assemblies, and systems.

System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, mechanical, and software engineers, to integrate peristaltic pump systems into various applications.

Prototyping & Testing: Lead prototyping efforts, conduct performance and durability tests, and troubleshoot design issues.

Product Optimization: Continuously improve pump designs for better efficiency, performance, and cost-effectiveness.

Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed technical specifications, drawings, and reports for design reviews and project documentation.

Quality Assurance: Work closely with quality control teams to ensure product reliability, compliance with industry standards, and successful implementation of improvements.

R&D & Innovation: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and materials related to pump design and fluid systems. Contribute ideas to enhance product functionality and customer satisfaction.

Skills & Qualifications:

Educational Qualifications: BE/BTech in Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in the design and development of peristaltic pumps, fluid systems, or similar mechanical products.

Technical Skills :

- Proficient in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD, or similar).

- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including fluid dynamics, material science, and manufacturing processes.

- Experience with pump systems, including sealing mechanisms, fluid handling, and pressure regulation.

- Familiarity with simulation tools (CFD, FEA) for design analysis.

- Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to analyze complex design challenges and develop innovative solutions.

- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to work effectively with teams and clients.

- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Desired Attributes:

- Experience in the development of pumps used in industries such as pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, biotechnology, or chemical processing is a plus.

- Knowledge of ISO and other relevant industry standards for product development and manufacturing.

- Willingness to continuously learn and stay ahead of industry trends.
