Transmission Line Tower Structural Designer (13-25 yrs)
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Detailer specializing in Transmission Line (T/L) Towers. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in structural detailing and be proficient in using BOCAD, AutoCAD, and general CAD practices. Experience with shop floor drawings and familiarity with SAP will be considered an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and prepare structural and shop floor drawings for transmission line (T/L) towers.
- Develop complete tower structures in BOCAD, including stubs, superstructures, body, and leg extensions.
- Create accurate 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, following established CAD standards.
- Review and modify drawings based on engineering input and project requirements.
- Ensure all detailing work aligns with transmission line tower standards and fabrication needs.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and production teams for seamless execution.
- Maintain drawing documentation and support integration with ERP systems like SAP, if required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in structural detailing, with a focus on transmission line tower structures.
- Proficient in BOCAD and AutoCAD; experience with 3D AutoCAD is a plus.
- Well-versed in general CAD practices and detailing standards.
- Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is desirable.
- Strong understanding of fabrication and shop floor processes related to T/L towers.
