Job Description :

Qualification : M.Plan in Transport Planning/M.Tech in Transportation Engineering with sound knowledge and experience of working over Macro & Micro simulation models and 4 stage traffic modelling.

Role Requirements :

- Working experience of software like Aimsun, Vissim and Visum, ArcGIS, AutoCAD.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Strong mathematical and/or engineering capabilities underpinned by M Tech or equivalent qualification.

- Technical development of project tasks, and development of tools and processes.

- Development and checking of simulation models and model forecasts, reports and analyses including quality and delivery to timescales.

- Understanding of GIS applications, databases and spreadsheet programs, preferably with some knowledge of VBA programming.

- Developing visualization using GIS, AutoCAD, 3ds Max, or sketch up.

- Over 0-2 years' experience with microsimulation, traffic engineering and/or junction modelling.

- Appropriate academic and professional qualifications (preferably Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with Masters degree in Transport Planning/Engineering).

- Fundamentals of Transport Planning/Traffic Engineering is necessary.

- For professionals, working experience with VISSIM or AIMSUN is desired.

- Strong communication skills are essential.
