Turn Mill Centre Operator (5-15 yrs)
We are seeking an experienced Turn Mill Centre Operator to set up, operate, and maintain turn-mill machines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in multitasking machining operations, ensuring high-quality output while maximizing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1 Prepare the turn-mill machine for operation by loading raw materials, securing workpieces, and installing cutting tools.
2 Operate the turn-mill machine, monitor machining processes, and make real-time adjustments to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
3 Coordinate turning and milling operations on the same machine, leveraging multitasking capabilities.
4 Select and set up appropriate cutting tools, set tool offsets, and replace tools as needed to ensure consistent quality and productivity.
5 Identify and resolve issues during machining, including tool wear, part defects, and machine malfunctions.
6 Maintain machine cleanliness, perform routine maintenance, and follow safety protocols at all times.
Required Skills & Competencies:
1 Strong knowledge of turning and milling operations on CNC turn-mill machines.
2 Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
3 Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot machine or part issues promptly.
4 Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.
