UniMech - Quality Head - Aerospace Manufacturing (8-15 yrs)
Job Overview :
- As an experienced and dedicated Quality Head, you will be responsible for Ensuring the Quality Management System processes that are - established, implemented and maintained- as per AS 9100 Rev D.
Quality Head Job Roles and Responsibilities :
- Responsible for entire Quality / Inspection team in the Organization and drive the quality output in all the departments.
- Drive efficiency & RFT through Line Inspection, Final Inspection & Supplier quality, and deliver the Organizational KPI's like Ontime Delivery, Quality & Cost in the organization
- Should be able to Deep dive in to the detail level parts and Inspection systems to meet customer / Organizational requirements.
- Responsible for Improving Suppliers / Inhouse Quality by timely and effective communication systems
- Review Vendor quality control documents such as Inspection and Test Plans, NDT procedures etc., Review material test certificates, test reports, calibration certificates, type test reports etc. in accordance with the project specification, standards and codes
- Ensure Quality Management System processes are - established, implemented and maintained- as per AS 9100 Rev D
- Ensure all company policies, procedures, and work instructions are documented in a clear, simple and concise manner.
- Conduct safety, quality and environmental system compliance audits
- Ensure personnel have received appropriate training and are assessed as competent to perform tasks.
- Prepare and submit monthly management reports relating to company systems, compliance and incidents
- Maintain the company library of compliance resources including standards.
Quality Head Skills & Qualification :
- Diploma, NTTF or BE with minimum 8 years experience in Quality Department out of which minimum 3 years of experience in the leading Quality team.
- Must have minimum of 8 years experience in Aerospace manufacturing Industry in Quality Incharge / MR role
- Should be able to Technically & Operationally execute all the Assy & Precision parts with highest level of Quality
- Strong and in QMS / AS9100 Rev D. Should have led a team of Inspection & quality personnel in Aerospace / Oil & Gas parts manufacturing company
- Should be Sound in First Principle, CMM measurements also very sound in Special processed parts / Assemblies.
