UniMech - Quality Inspector (2-6 yrs)
Job Overview :
As an experienced and dedicated Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for inspection and quality assurance of assemblies and parts manufactured by UniMech and its suppliers.
Quality Inspector Job Roles and Responsibilities :
- Perform inspections and tests at In-house, Vendor Shops/Project site in compliance with Inspection and test plan for machined parts, welded parts and raw materials.
- Review Vendor quality control documents such as Inspection and Test Plans, NDT procedures etc.
- Review material test certificates, test reports, calibration certificates, type test reports etc. in accordance with the project specification, standards and codes.
- Prepare and ensure timely issuance and distribution of inspection reports in accordance with project requirements.
- Issue Non-Conformity reports and punch lists in the case of unsatisfactory inspections and follow up on their resolution.
- Review and approval of Vendor Manufacturing Data Book.
- Collaborate with Third Party Inspection agencies as per requirement.
- Experience working in automated quality systems is an advantage.
- CMM Knowledge is an added advantage.
Quality Inspector Skills and Qualifications
- Diploma/ B.E in Mechanical, Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering, Diploma in Quality Assurance/Quality control preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Have a complete understanding of first principle inspection methodology.
