Position Title : Sr Manager / Chief Manager - Urban Planner

Reports to : Team Leader of PMC

Team Size : 18

Grade : CS4 Designation : Sr Manager/ Chief Manager

Qualification : Post-graduation in Urban Planning, Town Planning & Urban & Regional Planning

Experience 10 years experience in integrated land use planning

- Experience in GIS based land use planning, preparing Master Plan/CDP/SCP etc.

- Experience developing Development Control Regulations, Knowledge of land management tools like land pooling, TDR etc. Experience in Urban research

A. Job Objective

Project Management Consultancy Services to design, develop, manage and implement Smart City Projects under the Smart City Mission of the Govt. of India for Muzaffarpur Smart City Limited wherein a team of 18 key professionals are to be deployed at Muzaffarpur for different time periods as part of the PMC Team for rendering the required services for a period of 36 months.

B. Key responsibilities : Accountabilities KPI's

Business Outcomes :

- Preparation of Concept Plan on development projects & Planning / Lay out of Areas as per URDPFI Norms

- Conducting Planning related survey

- Preparation of base maps, thematic maps, land use maps, overall Master Plan and its details

- Demand Projections based on sector-wise data collection & analysis of Various Parameters of Planning as per Design & Standards

People :

- Manage self through the establishment of goal setting and review mechanisms to achieve the objectives of the function

- Provide guidance, counselling and feedback to subordinates on their performance to ensure a motivated and committed team

Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work.
