We are looking for a dedicated and technically proficient Proposal Engineer with expertise in Rockwell Automation systems to join our growing team at VACIS Automation. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive, and well-structured proposals for automation and electrical control projects.

Experience and Skill Set Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.

- Minimum 3 years of experience in proposal or systems engineering with a focus on Rockwell Automation (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, FactoryTalk View, Power Flex drives).

- Strong knowledge of automation system components including PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, VFDs, and industrial communication protocols.

- Proficient in Rockwell software tools: Studio 5000, RSLogix 5000, FactoryTalk View ME/SE, and Connected Components Workbench (CCW).

- Familiarity with AutoCAD or EPLAN for reading/modifying electrical drawings.

- Good understanding of control panel design, industrial standards, and wiring practices.

- Experience working in industries such as Water/Wastewater, Oil & Gas, FMCG, or Manufacturing.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple proposals simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Job Responsibilities:

- Analyze client RFQs, tender documents, and specifications to design technically compliant automation solutions using Rockwell Automation platforms.

- Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals, including scope of work (SoW), control philosophy, system architecture, and bill of materials (BOM).

- Estimate project costs including hardware, engineering hours, software licensing, panel building, and commissioning.

- Develop functional descriptions, panel GA diagrams, and high-level system designs.

- Coordinate internally with design, procurement, and project teams to validate proposal assumptions.

- Communicate with clients and support the sales team in technical discussions and bid clarification meetings.

- Ensure proposals are submitted on time and in accordance with client requirements and VACIS quality standards.

- Maintain records of proposals and regularly update the proposal tracking system.
