Vehicle Electronics Expert (5-19 yrs)
Requirements:
Electronics Design: Proficiency in electronics design, including circuit design, analog and digital electronics, and printed circuit board (PCB) layout. Familiarity with electronic components and their integration into EV sub systems.
- Strong knowledge of EV system architectures, including battery management systems, motor controllers, VCU,power electronics, charging systems,Telemetry,BT wifi,GPS and LTE.
- Experience with system-level design tools and software such as MATLAB, Simulink, and ORCAD,SI&PI tools.
- Conduct simulations and analyses to optimize system performance, efficiency, and safety.
- Defining Electrical wiring connections with different subsystems including wiring harness 2D/3D drawings.
- Power Electronics : Knowledge of power electronics and their application in EV systems, including DC-DC converters, inverters, and power management systems. Understanding of power conversion, voltage regulation, and efficient energy transfer.
- Failure Analysis and Troubleshooting : Strong analytical skills to perform failure analysis and troubleshooting of EV electronics subsystems. Ability to identify root causes of failures and implement corrective actions.
- Collaboration and Communication : Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and software developers. Ability to convey technical concepts and collaborate on project requirements
Preferred :
- Knowledge of automotive industry regulations and safety standards such as ISO 26262 and SAE J1939.
- Understanding of production processes and manufacturing techniques for automotive systems.
- Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) tools and simulation software for electric powertrain systems
- Familiarity with design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles for electronics systems of the EV
- Knowledge of safety and failure analysis techniques for EV sub systems, such as fault tree analysis (FTA) or failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA)
- Hands on experience In Electrical and electronics industry is added as an advantage.
