Position:Cost Engineer (Assistant Lead Engineer / Lead Engineer.

Organization:Global Service - Service Product Management - Vestas Asset Management Center- Platform & Cost Performance.

Responsibilities:

Cost Engineer will own & maintain the Service cost base for the entire Vestas globally

- Periodically update the service cost base with latest failure forecasts and relevant inputs

- Responsible for updating Vestas Service cost modeling tool with regional stakeholders input

- Drive Global Cost out program with cost breakdown & cost driver Analysis

- Platforms' Profit Analysis

- Reporting

Qualifications:

- Preferably have a background in Engineering at Bachelors & Masters in Finance / relevant experience

- Above 5 Years of relevant Experience.

- Strong experience in Product Costing, Should Cost, Transfer Pricing, Margin Analysis, MIS, OPEX, Cost control from Engineering/Manufacturing/Energy sector

- Possess statistical aptitude & data crunching ability

- Hands-on experience in SAP & BI tools

- Strong understanding of Business Case Analysis & Commercial acumen.

- Strong working knowledge on Advanced Excel, PowerPoint & database tools like SQL Studio

- Knowledge on DMAIC Six Sigma Methodology (Yellow/ Green Belts)

- Work structured and systematic and have a consistent attention to detail, which enables you to meet deadlines

- Be a dynamic career driven individual who is able to work autonomously and yet appreciates the value in working in teams

- Strong drive to make changes in the organization

- Excellent communication skills in English

- Flexible regarding work hours (International stakeholders)

- Social Skills
