Vice President - Automation & Robotics (20-25 yrs)
Roles and Responsibilities :
- The incumbent will be heading the Corporate engineering Function which will include New Product launches, Process Engineering, Tool room, Industrial engineering, low cost automation and Robotic automation.
- The incumbent will work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution through global consulting engagements.
- Design and develop Special purpose machines for new products as well as existing products to improve productivity.
- Standardize manufacturing processes across all the plants in India.
- Lead company wide deployment of Low cost automations, Robotics, Low cost Automation for Machining, Assembly and product testing.
- Robotic Automation for various applications.
- Process engineering which include Process Design, Design and development.
Develop and manage the operational budget for the Special Purpose machine department and Manufacturing Engineering.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Should have 20+ years of experience with achievement history in Manufacturing Engineering & Operations, Program Management and New Product Development.
- Intelligent- passionate & motivated with high energy levels ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- A positive thinker, self-driven, results orientated individual with clear focus on manufacturing operations for enhanced production output, product quality
- Skilled in Business Case Analysis, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Automation, Industrial Robotics, Plant Floor Data Systems; knowledge of PCBA Automation, Precision Machining & Assembly Processes.
- Resourceful in taking stringent quality measures to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Skilled in ensuring enough human, financial, technological, informational, production planning, quality assurance, automation, process enhancement.
