VP/Sr. GM- Commercial Procurement (MBA+B.Tech Full Time) - Industrial Products

Prerequisites to be followed strictly :

Qualification : MBA+ BE(Mechanical)-Regular(IS MUST).

Overall Experience: 18-26 Yrs

Should have at least 15+Yrs Global commercial sourcing/purchasing experience.

- Excellent planning & organizing.

- Negotiation/ Cost optimization skills.

- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills with internal and external customers.

- Problem solving and decision making skills.

Brief of Role

- Strong credentials in Purchase / Sourcing of raw material, machinery, components in a B2 B industrial products / engineering goods / capital equipment.

- Strategic initiatives including cost reduction and supply chain re-engineering.

- Lead on all aspects of sourcing of direct and in-direct material & services like negotiations, vendor development, project and capital purchases.

- Sub-contracting & job work, inventory management and annual service contracts including preparing / validating techno-commercial comparisons and justification sheets.

- Identify and develop suppliers and initiate business partnership.

- Anticipate unfavourable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies.

- Perform risk management regarding supply contracts and agreements.

- Vendor network and contacts. Ability and strong credentials in motivating the purchase team including subsidiary companies and drive aggressive high performance culture.

- Conversant with ISO / TS system and proper documentation. Strong focus on developing and implementing systems & processes.

- Overall commercial knowledge of various statutory and indirect tax compliances related to purchase

- Should be proficient in ERP
