Role Overview :

As a Warehouse Manager - Cold Chain Operations, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of cold storage warehouse operations in Bangalore. You will ensure safe, efficient, and compliant storage and movement of temperature-controlled products while maintaining the highest service standards for our clients.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong operational control, people management skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage day-to-day operations of the cold storage warehouse, including inbound, storage, picking, and dispatch.

- Ensure strict adherence to temperature control, hygiene, food safety, and quality standards.

- Monitor and optimize warehouse capacity utilization, space planning, and inventory accuracy.

- Lead, train, and manage warehouse staff, supervisors, and contract labour.

- Coordinate with inter-city logistics, transport partners, and clients for smooth movement of goods.

- Implement SOPs and process improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and turnaround times.

- Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, and regulatory requirements (FSSAI, audits, etc.).

- Track key operational KPIs such as OTIF, shrinkage, damage, and cost efficiency.

- Act as the primary point of contact for clients on warehouse-related operations and service issues.

- Leverage AbleCold's technology platform to ensure visibility, reporting, and operational control.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5- 8 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in cold chain, FMCG, food, dairy, pharma, or temperature-controlled logistics.

- High sense of ownership. Willing to roll up own sleeves to get the work done

- Should have experience of operating erp/wms

- Ability to handle clients or customers directly

- Strong understanding of cold storage operations, temperature management, and inventory control.

- Proven experience in managing teams and handling multi-shift operations.

- Strong problem-solving, planning, and execution skills.

- Comfortable with data, reports, and operational metrics.
