Wartsila - Senior Service Engineer - Field Service - Mechanical (5-10 yrs)
Are you ready to step into a dynamic role where you will:
- Perform Field Service tasks on modern marine diesel, dual-fuel engines, and gas engines according to the work plan.
- Conduct overhauls and repairs on 4-stroke medium-speed engines.
- Interact professionally with customers throughout the service delivery.
- Offer technical guidance to Service Engineers and Customers on product/system usage.
- Ensure work compliance with W- rtsil- QEHS guidelines and site procedures.
- Keep customers and internal stakeholders informed of work order status.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- Diploma/BE in Mechanical with at least 7 years of experience.
- Practical expertise in the repair & maintenance of 4-stroke engines.
- Hands-on experience with Marine installations.
- Willingness to travel extensively and relocate to Mangalore or Chennai.
- Strong communication skills and a focus on cost-effectiveness.
