Ensures compliance to all internal & external requirements on safety and environment at plant Level

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Formulate Corporate SHE Strategy and action plan.

- Oversee the implementation of SHE policy across the Organisation.

- Identify and benchmark the best practices amongst the various industries and get the same implemented for achieving Zero accidents in all Operations.

- Design Audit Protocol and carry out Audit of all Safety/ Environment systems

- Provide Updates on latest changes in Regulator requirements.

- Collect / collate the statistical information and prepare MIS.

- Impart Safety Training to the workers on Hazardous material handling.

- Ensure ETP & STP Operation efficiency

- Water Reuse and Recycling

- Waste minimization

- GHG Gas Inventorisation

- Risk identification and control

- Drive SHE activities as per Whirlpool production System

- Legal compliances

- Liasoning with Government Authorities

- Fire Prevention & control

Critical Experience (Must Have) :

- Should have handled implementation and monitoring of Safety, Occupational Health & Environment initiatives in large organizations at corporate level.

- Knowledge of various statutory provisions in the areas of Environment, Health & Safety.

- Experience of implementing quality systems in EHS Areas.

- ISO 14001: OHSAS 18001

- Diploma in Safety, Health & Environment from recognized institute as per Factory Act. (1 year Post Diploma in Industrial Safety from Regional Labour Institute, Kanpur is preferred.)
