Job Description :

WHS Manager role will be responsible for overseeing all WHS and Environmental matters on a construction site within a Global Organisation that is new to the Australian market. The role will be responsible for:

- Reviewing and Verifying that the organisation is compliant in it's -practices in relation to Health & Saftey and the Environmental practices

- Ensuring all contractors and third parties are compliant with legislation, the WHS plan for the site and the Global prolicies and practices

- Ensuring all workers on site (including contractors/third parties) are fully aware of the safety requirements and the safety plan and undertake any relevant safety plans

- Ensure all relevant licenses and permits are in place before the site is established and construction begins

- Ensure regular monitoring of the WHS and environmental plan by regularly inspecting the site and surrounding areas and that any non-compliance is reported and appropriate measures applied

- Overseeing all relevant training for workers/contractors/third parties

- Report all safety and environmental incidents within 24 hours in line with Global policies and procedures

- Support on any meetings or inspections undertaken by relevant authorities
