Wonderchef - Production Manager - Pressure Cooker Manufacturing (8-10 yrs)
Knowledge of production management in Cookware industry. Experience in Pressure Cooker manufacturing is ESSENTIAL
JOB DESCRIPTION :
- Planning and organizing assembly and production schedules
- Determine standard production procedures for Pressure cookers and quality control plans/programs for the same
- Implement and monitor product and quality standards
- Ensure that production is efficient, cost effective and as per set quality standards
- Educate team members on safety tips and procedures and ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed
- Supervise and motivate team members
- Leads in problem solving activities to resolve safety, productivity, quality concerns within a process.
- Result oriented and self-driven to lead with minimal direction; can develop and manage an improvement plans
- Control, monitor and reconcile consumption of material against work order
- Achievement of daily / weekly / monthly production targets
- Must ensure all required paperwork is completed timely such as - SPC, Quality Checks, TPM, Scrap / Rejection, process confirmation, Time and Attendance
- Leads in driving excellence in 5S standardization & empowers direct employees in 5S activities by performing 5S process confirmations
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Skill Sets :
- Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
- Experience in reporting key performance metrics
- Advanced computer skills; Excel (including data analysis/charts), Outlook, Microsoft Word, Power point, etc
- Decision-making & problem-solving skills and a result driven approach
Acad Qualification: DME / BE (Mech)
Assembly line experience is a must
Experience: 8 - 10 years- experience
